the telling of Solomon Louizides receiving the Air Medal and an
Oak Leaf Cluster while serving as a radio operator and gunner on board a
B-24 Liberator Bomber flying missions over Germany.

Solomon Louizides is listed on the
Hackensack High School 1946 Dedication Page and the Plaque at City Hall in Hackensack which tells us that shortly after March 5, 1945, only a little over a month left in the war in Europe, Solomon Louizides gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Let us never forget the Airmen’s sacrifice.
